Why Custom Maps?

While digital maps can be great for navigating, maps often need to show a larger area for context than can be effectively shown on the tiny screen of a handheld device. Zooming out is an option, but it comes at the cost of losing smaller details. For many – like cyclists, hikers and tourists – those small details are key to continuing their journey.

Our custom maps provide the details people need to plan routes and to reach their destinations conveniently and with confidence. In building your custom map we bridge the gap between data, design and understanding of the process. By communicating in clear and simple terms we help you create a map that you’ll be proud of, and eager to share.

Maps Made Easy With Our Proven 5-Step Process

STEP 1: Consultation

In the consultation we'll talk about the scope of your map project and goals. By the end of the call we will give you a ballpark estimate on costs and delivery times.

STEP 2: Design Brief

The design brief puts your goals and objectives into writing. It describes the content, style requirements, schedule and costs more precisely.

STEP 3: Research

Here we gather the appropriate data sets and create the draft layout. Once approved, we edit the data set so that only relevant information is shown on your map.

STEP 4: Production

Your map is now constructed according to the requirements as outlined in the design brief. Revisions are made as needed, and final quality checks are completed.

STEP 5: Delivery

The final product iis delivered as a digital file according to your requirements. Hard copies in a range of sizes are optionally available.
